Dealt a harsh blow from Bittrex this past week, SAFEX rallied and then was put into complete limbo as Cryptopia suspended trading while it ponders delisting for SAFEX. I'm confident that Cryptopia will not delist SAFEX as that could prove to be a foolish business decision. Also SAFEX and Verge were mentioned by John Mcafee on numerous occasions (most recent 12/16/17).
BCH - Bitcoin Cash
Regardless of your stance, the fact remains that Jihan https://twitter.com/jihanwu has a lot of sway when it comes to the crypto-universe. Bitmain is the dominant mining producer for SHA-256 mining. The Antminer L3+ has gone up about $600 to just over $2000 for March 2018 delivery. Bitmain currently accepting only BCH as a payment method.

XRP - Ripple
Ripple is no ones 'favorite' coin, but again, we cannot ignore that its going to be used by big banks and the momentum will not stop once it gets rolling. I've seen reasonable price predictions of $15/xrp w/in a few
months.

Last, but not least... Never underestimate where this can end up. The original and best coin to HODL! Just like Bitcoin, the adoption of Steemit is still in it's infancy. I just did a test Powerdown cycle as I had never done it before... good to know it works well just in case you need some fast cash. Most importantly, it's a brilliant way of actually saving in crypto as 7 days is long enough that you might change your mind whether or not to liquidate.
AVOID - Monero is older tech at this point - still a great coin for anon uses etc, but there are plenty of new competitors like Zencash, Verge and others. I'd be really surprised if XMR was ever added to a place like Coinbase.

Opinion on DAG coins (Raiblocks, IOTA, Byteball)? To me, these have the most potential if they become widespread.

I'm sure IOTA will do just fine - I missed the boat on that one... also sold XVG at 1sat... don't want to miss the upcoming potential of these coins. Byteball - I only know that Marc de Mesel loves that coin and has done well with it.
Raiblocks, besides it's low market cap, is actually scary! They've managed to establish a network where transactions are actually near-instant and completely feeless. It's only on Mercatox and Bitgrail, which is inhibiting it's price from growing. Right now is the perfect time to hop in as it's only a matter of time before it becomes mainstream!

gonna wait for a good re-entry on NEO... and XRP could be getting close to an entry. I think today was a USD all time high for NEO which I exited completely in anticipation of the CME BTC futures... expect alts to be dragged down.
