EOS the Ethereum killer - The Intelligent Investment

in #cryptocurrency7 years ago (edited)

Hello traders, few days ago i made a post on Tradingview, where i recommended to buy and hold EOS. I want to point out that it is still a good idea to buy EOS where the price is today, but in the case of some will wait until the price falls more, then i have mentioned in my post the demand area where it could be very good opportunity to buy.

Many Entrepreneurs, Banks, developers, F 500 companies and governments have expressed their interest in building blockchain app's. The Current blockchain platforms such as Ethereum are limited in scalability, fees & throughput.

They was not designed from the ground up with commercial applications in mind. Attempting to do the major changes necessary now is like trying to disassemble an engine while it is running

EOS is building a blockchain platform for scale, ease of use and millions of transactions per second. It is incorporating the lessons and failure of existing blockchain models. With an eye on the future of commercial adoption, EOS has a leg up on Ethereum, by building to remedy the failures.

It is why, EOS is the Ethereum killer and will make other blockchains obsolete.

Current price of EOS is $3.5 and i can easily see the price hit $100 in the near future. We don't have to go many years back when Etherum was at $.3.5 ( 08-02-2016 ).

A price of $100 would imply a market cap of $100 B. While I think that may be possible in a few years, 2018 is likely to hit around $15 - $30

Could be, i think much more.

I bet EOS at 100 by july. We still dont watch the big money shows up... till there, buy it.

I'd bet against that, but would be happy to be wrong.

This is whats keeping me away from EOS. Stated in their token purchase agreement:

  • EOS TOKENS HAVE NO RIGHTS, USES OR ATTRIBUTES. The EOS Tokens do not have any rights, uses, purpose, attributes, functionalities or features, express or implied, including, without limitation, any uses, purpose, attributes, functionalities or features on the EOS Platform. Company does not guarantee and is not representing in any way to Buyer that the EOS Tokens have any rights, uses, purpose, attributes, functionalities or features.

  • NOT A PURCHASE OF EOS PLATFORM TOKENS. EOS Tokens purchased under this Agreement are not tokens on the EOS Platform. Buyer acknowledges, understands and agrees that Buyer should not expect and there is no guarantee or representation made by Company that Buyer will receive any other product, service, rights, attributes, functionalities, features or assets of any kind whatsoever, including, without limitation, any cryptographic tokens or digital assets now or in the future whether through receipt, exchange, conversion, redemption or otherwise.

  • PURCHASE OF EOS TOKENS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE AND PURCHASES CANNOT BE CANCELLED. BUYER MAY LOSE ALL AMOUNTS PAID.

  • EOS TOKENS MAY HAVE NO VALUE.

  • COMPANY RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE OR CANCEL EOS TOKEN PURCHASE REQUESTS AT ANY TIME IN ITS SOLE DISCRETION.

Understandable that this inspires fear in purchasers, but take a look at the founding team and how they've operated with integrity in the past. All of that legalese is because of ambiguity in securities law with regards to crypto.

Stupid question #1: How does an American buy EOS?

Stupid question #2: Is there such a thing as a paper wallet cold storage option for EOS?

more info:

not a stupid question :)
#1) best guess is buy them through an exchange.

If you end up pulling the trigger make sure you register them by January 1st, I believe is the deadline. (I'm trying to figure out how to register my tokens now)

@tradewonk You have not missed a thing yet for those that think that EOS will be HUGE in the Future !

Thank you for another great post. Keep up the good work! 👍🏼👍🏼

I totally agree with you! And at some point EOS does not need to compete directly with Ethereum... May have mkt for both! But one thing you are absolutely right.. not far behind ETH was as cheap as i think EOS is right now. IT IS A BUY! no doubts...

I've got myself some of these bad boys tucked away 😁

Haha good one, same here :-)

@tradewonk my friend, I see you are doing super good with your blog posts, so happy for you and thanks for this eye opener. How do I get to buy EOS, I wanna hold😀

You can store in my etherwallet. I bought mine through changelly with Eth and just sent back to myetherwallet.

Thank you, appreciate it!

Thank you for the interesting article. What are your predictions about SBD?

SBD / Steem Dollars as you can read in your wallet "Tokens worth about $1.00 of STEEM" So one sbd should be around $1, so i really don't understand what happend right now since it is around $4. But i can tell you that steem will rise :)

So I do not understand anything. And about 4, it was a long time.

It's 4.6 right now. but the idea behind steem dollars is that it should always be around $1 worth. Steem / Steem power should rise :)

From what I've gathered, there is a mechanism that ensures that you can trade in your SBD for $1 worth of STEEM, based on the rate which is set by witnesses. So that is a nice insurance, it means SBD won't really go lower than $1. But the other direction, there is no mechanism at all to keep SBD no higher than $1. You can trade it on the open market so it could go as high as anything else.

That is a good point it is like crypto insurance and when you look at crypto it has a small amount out there so the value is going to go up if others want to use it. and as it has not cost to send. It is really a cool crypto and shows the future of SMT is huge for STEEM as a whole. I look forward to seeing where we are a year from now.

thankyou tradewonk....i want to invest money ...it would be a intelligent choice if i go with EOS i think

Yes it would :)

My pleasure!

thank you bro
We always benefit from you

My pleasure!

I have been checking eos since it was USD$2. I see great potential in it but I am concerned about getting in since it is an ico.

I'm having a hard time finding instructions on how to register my EOS tokens. I've been able to find some instructions on how to register an ether wallet and reference the EOS contract.. However, I bought My EOS through an exchange. Does anyone have some experience on how to save these exchange bought EOS tokens should be handled?

Hey @randomdate good question

EOS seems like better technology, but sometimes better tech or products do not always win out. It's still 6 months untill launch. How will they overtake Ethereum?

Ether is on his limits. Nothing is going at the moment! And the Fees are very high.

Bought some recently. I hope you are right my man. I would love to ride the EOS wave.

What is eos the coin used for? Speculation or something else?

ETH is used for icos but I haven't heard of a use case yet for eos.
