It wasn't too long ago that I was gifted an old elephant skin wallet. It's a real nice cold storage wallet. It has no online connections.
The future of wallets is moving into the lime light.
Why?
All of your online activity can be managed from one central source. The user and their wallet being the focal point here.
Nobody else controls your stuff.
It's an all too common news story: "company hacked....customer's private information compromised"
Data Markets
Data is big business.
Essentially everything is bite sized in somehow...someway.
Some of the biggest companies in the world are those that are "data mining".....data farms....collecting user information in exchange for a free service. (email, google...facebook...etc...etc..)
Paradigm Shift to an Equal Playing Field
- Blurring the lines between interests of the developers, shareholders, and customers. It's about structurally aligning the incentives for all parties involved. To put it simply:
Structurally aligning the interests of all parties involved by correctly incentivizing activity in all capacities - The network takes on a life of it's own and now we're talking about a whole new way of operating...To define the functioning would be to say, "it's a win/win model of mutual benefit".
Reorganizing the ways in which we participate with the internet is a work in progress.
Keep tabs on the wallet space...as the wallets that provide the most services, and utility for the average dude will be leaders in the mapping of this new world we are creating.
Imagine your wallet working for you like a bank that has opportunities and services available which are advantageous in nature that streamline the efficiency in many aspects of your daily life.
Think about it like this:
Previously difficult to find services and deals that are the best...usually only available to the most elite clients will be streamlined to the average dude. Banking the unbanked is really happening. How many people are unbanked. Google it. All of these people have been excluded. How much exponential growth is there in the network effects when you double the amount of participants? How many ways can new pathways and connections be formed.
- The Internet being built with blockchain is the new neural networks for artificial intelligence....Your wallet will be like the steering wheel for managing your life in the digital age.

What does an elephant skin wallet look like? Is it grey? It would be perfect with ivory accents, but I think ivory is illegal now.
I really like the Exodus wallet. It's fast, easy to use, secure and it just looks awesome. Also I get a a nice Pavlov's dog reaction when funds come in with the change clinking noise.

This is what an elephant skin wallet looks like. The one I got is super old from south Africa.. I'm not up to date on what the current rules are for making them now.

In my city they are implementing a digital purse called "Apperto". I do not like it because it claims to be a cryptocurrency, when in reality it is only a digital debit platform.
but people still in crypto put their money on exchanges when they have such wallets which are safe and secure
the new wallets which we will keep them handy all the time the paradigm shift is finally here
there is no bigger market than data right now hackers are not gonna leave this time to protect it
the future of wallets is simply so bright can't wait for the day where we do not need to take anything with us
