I am a prolific Steem browser although I do have to admit that I do not venture enough into unknown territory. My follow list is enough to keep me occupied with nice, original diverse content.
So along with that browsing comes upvoting of course. But there are those times when I miss a post and for those I have some people on Steemvoter (made by the people from @buildteam)
This allows me to set my account to vote automatically for the people I feel deserve a vote from me no matter what.
- Like last year I made the pledge to @surfermarly to upvote her charity project @dreamsoftheocean for 100% every time she made a post. This rule is still active and will stay that way. This is a way for me to give to a worthwhile cause on a longterm basis.
- My mum just because she raised me and I love her. @ladysalsa, she posts pictures of the paintings she makes once in a while. I also got her to invest a bit of money into steem
- The KP brothers: @tarazkp and @galenkp. Even though they live on opposite sides of the world they seem to have a knack for writing nice articles.
- @lukestokes who has been a fount of information on Steem and EOS and a genuinely nice all round nice guy
- @detlev not only because he likes beer so much
- @steembasicincome and @qurator who I have been member of for a while.
- I am adding @revisesociology soon as well since I got to know him personally at steemfest and he also writes interesting stuff (and he gave me the inspiration for this post)
Now I still had all my votes set up around minute 25-30 and this provided me with roughly 3 - 3.5 steem per week in curation rewards.
I recently read a post by @revisesociology on curation https://busy.org/@revisesociology/using-beempy-to-improve-my-curation-rewards
and that lead me to https://beempy.com/ which has been created by @holger80 whom I did not really know before.
So once I got to work with this website I made some changes according to the suggestions made and it seems to be working out
So for the same votes as I gave before I am now receiving almost double the curation. How cool is that.
So it might also be worth it to go and change your auto voting rules to optimise them a bit, and maybe add me while you are at it :-)
Hi @felander,
Thank you so much for this article. After HF20 I didn't really know how to set my auto-upvotes, so I've put them all at 15 minutes. Thanks to this tool I will be able to analyze this a bit better.
For my project @help.venezuela the income from curation rewards is very important so I feel that I will be able to optimize that a bit ;-)
Best regards,
Achim
Thanks for having me not only for the beer.
But stay tuned for some fun and powerful stuff for all the @beerlover on the blockchain...
Hey thanks for the mention, i only just stumbled on it, no idea why @partiko didn't altert me, it usually does.
I have improved my curation rewards massively since I discovered beempy and tweaked my voting times, and ocdb of course! Glad they're both working out for you too.
Good work in the management of the curation rewards, well done!
spending a bit of time to get more rewards for the same work makes sense to me...
Thank you so much for participating in the Partiko Delegation Plan Round 1! We really appreciate your support! As part of the delegation benefits, we just gave you a 3.00% upvote! Together, let’s change the world!
