These series of drawings come in a time when some of my family is dealing with fevers. As I care for them it gives me time to reflect on life a bit. In these moments I understand that a hurried schedule is as relentless as the bite of a crocodile. I don't understand how I have time for creating under those circumstances.
Then I realize that life requires that you make many frames. There may be framed messes and spills. There may be a framed serene meadow at the top of a hill. There may even be a framed smile from someone who is grateful for you. Accept, appreciate, and frame all things so you can move with freedom.
Everything must be framed and we must accept life as it is. To get buried in a matter or hyper-focus on a victory will cause a distraction from life.
As my poetry spigot is slowing and my illustration spigot flourishes, I send these to you. I am hopeful that you have times in the day, as I have, to reflect on the good and sweet aspects of life and let go of any bitterness and anger.

I meant whether you use an iPad, a Wacom table, etc. In my case I draw with pen and paper, then I ink with with a marker, then I take a picture of it and then I add color and shades with an image processing software similar to Phososhop.
I enjoyed scrolling down and reading & seeing each of the drawings.Lovely drawings of your stroll and well written missive of your musings. So enjoyed reading about them and how you appreciate it so. A Wonderful post......it would be a privilege to see indeed.

Oh, these drawings have some sort of unique style to them! All of them are really cool :)
weirdly enough, I was thinking kind of in terms of frames today! This is a nice post for my first Steem read of the evening. I was driving on the parkway and someone was tailgaiting me. I said "self either you can focus on them or you can continue to drive very carefully and focus on talking to your child in the backseat and enjoying the peripheral view of gorgeous trees. There are frames in each moment too. I am glad I chose the second frame to put the majority of my life in in that moment.
