Waking up on Friday morning I had mixed emotions as I fired up the laptop. I had been considering playing on both sides of the fence so to speak; cross posting between steemit and hive. All that changed just before I went to bed the night before as I read numerous posts about the guzbucking “dictator of steemit” censoring posts on steemit. I will have none of that; no thank you.

Our voices and our thoughts are God given and I am not about to let a guzbucking dictator tell me what I can or can’t express be it either in spoken form or written. So I have made the decision to make all my posts on the HIVE forked chain going forward. The only thing you will we see from me on steemit will be answers to comments and those will be “See my reply on HIVE”.
There are enough…
There are enough more important issues going on in the world that people should be concerned with and what I (we) have to say shouldn’t be of any concern to anyone.
This dictator can keep his sandbox all to himself as far as I am concerned, I don’t care to play (post) in what has become a litter box for his cats to crap in. It is his sandbox but for me I prefer the virgin white sand beaches of the HIVE.
The current state of affairs…
The current state of affairs both on the blockchain and the rest of world have a couple items in common as I see it. The first one is the freedom to speak.
The second amendment should never have been necessary to be written in the first place so I won’t even point to that as “my right”. All of our rights are rights given to man by God, plain and simple.
One thing that people need to remember is that “man” created government. A real man does not have to answer to that which he created. People need to keep that at the forefront of their mind given the current state of affairs here in the USA. I am going to do what are right for me and my family first and if it happens to go against the government wishes; so be it.

There is a behavior known as “civil disobedience” and I would suggest people get familiar with it and be prepared to be a man. There may be a need for civil disobedience depending just how long this COVID-19 drags on and just how much the government restricts our movement, behavior and possibly speech.
The second item…
The second item are financial losses. With the steem / hive situation it will remain to be seen what the values do and I’m pretty certain there will be people who lose some value in their holdings. I’ve started powering down the little stake I have on steemit. While with the COVID-19 situation it is certain that it will affect nearly everyone financially in a negative way.
People elected to…
People elected to get involved with crypto so anything that happens to them it really is on them. On the other hand, COVID-19 didn’t have an IPO to get in on it; we all just got sucked into it by virtue of being alive. One thing that all of us can do to help our crypto situation is get active on HIVE and post and upvote.
When I look…
When I look back on my two years plus a few months on steemit I recall several people in “third world” countries that relied on steemit for generating what little income they had. One woman sold her steem earnings to buy chickens and ducks so she could collect the eggs to feed her family and sell or barter her extra eggs. I would like to think that the same can be possible with HIVE, if not more.
Pick a side or play in both sandboxes; but the key to winning is to play. For me I have made my decision and I’m playing where the sand is clean and the future is bright. HIVE.

It's not that I don't want to post one of my normal brilliant replies, but there just isn't anything to add.
I'm even going to start playing again, now that the taste of what happened at Steem has gotten out of my mouth. I've started the powerdown, too. I've got no hope of recovering the cash I put in (not a large number) but just don't care. That has always been sunk cost for me, so I'll take what I get for the steem and make it be hive. I'm here to PLAY!

I hope that agreement was for the whole article and not just the portion related to the hive / steem situation. The longer this COVID-19 situation goes on the more important it will be on people to "man up". My gut instinct is telling me that more is at play here than some "virus". Like I said in early comment this week on another post (or it may have been in discord chat) this "virus" could very well be a "Trojan Horse" delivering us something more sinister than what probably should be called a flue.
I think back to that which old man Bush said when he was president. While I can't recall it verbatim the message was about NWO, he said in closing "we will be successful".

You hit many nails on the head with this one. Did you see the DOJ wants to suspend Constitutional rights during the coronavirus emergency? Rolling Stone magazine just broke the story today. They "secretly" asked Congress to approve it. Also, the Fed just approved lending an additional $1 trillion a day to large banks. Per Day. A lot is happening behind the scenes while everyone is panicking and scrambling to find toilet paper. I hope people are paying attention. So glad you're here. Keep doing what you do!

I wasn't a signatory to the Constitution so in reality I have no claim to anything it provides. Neither does anyone else alive today unless they are a direct descendant of the men who signed it.
People need to understand that we (the people) are the enemy of the government and have been duped as to what the real status of our country is.... the constitutional government of this nation was abandoned a long, long time ago.
I can just do my small part to help my fellow man by encouraging them to research and read the history of this nation. Don't take my word as gospel, (even though it is the truth) knowledge is power and as a society we are short on both.
