Miss Foodie #012 - Asam Laksa

If you ever come to Penang, the must-have food here is none other than Asam Laksa.

When I first tried it, I didn’t really fancy it. Most probably because it taste so different from KK’s type of Laksa.
We usually have in curry Laksa kind of way.

But as the times goes by, I slowly can accept this Asam Laksa.
It is sour and spicy, with pineapples, cucumber, cilantro, red onion, and the soup paste is of fish flakes (a lil taste like tuna) and shrimp paste.

On a cold chilly day, this is definitely comfort food for the soul!
