This Week In Crafting/ Momhood

in #dapplr5 years ago

This hasn't been my most productive but also not my least productive week in crafting. Early in the week we rearranged our dinning room a.k.a craft room a.k.a board gaming room. (While the parents or I should say grandparents watched little miss). And Little Miss has been cranky pants due to incoming teeth the last few days. But enough of my excuses. Earlier this morning I picked up a sewing machine at a local yard sale for $5 (what a steal!!!) And had to test it out. So I made a glow-in-the-dark bib for the little miss. And I do have to say I'm pleased! And last night I busted out some sanitizer holders, chapstick holders, and keyfobs in spooky designs! (While lottle miss was in bed for the night) You might notice that the first three pictures have a interesting orange haze to them. And no that is not a filter. We live in the PNW which is currently in flames right now. So there is a lot of smoke in the air. As scary as it is. It left an eerie glow that gave my pieces a little more mood lighting. But anywhoo. That was our week in a nutshell so far. I'm not sure if I want to do daily or weekly posts. But for now I plan on doing at least 1 weekly and some smaller ones as I go. I'm also in the process of convincing my husband to post about his miniture painting and board gaming. But we will see how that goes. Thanks for reading! :)
