BIOGRAPHY OF FAITH BUKHARI

Imam Bukhari is Amir al-mu'minin in the field of Hadith. His full name is Abu Abdillah, Muhammad bin Ismail bin Ibrahim bin Mughirah Al-Bukhari Al-Ju'fi.
Ju'fi which is the Imam Bukhari ratio is the name of the head of government in Bukhara. His grandfather Mughirah was originally a Majesty and embraced Islam in the hands of Al-Ju'fi so that he was ordained by Imam Bukhari.
He was born in 194 AH and died in 256 AH so he was around 63 years old.
Imam Bukhari was born into a righteous family. His father was a hadith seeker of the Messenger of Allah who in his journey of searching hadith had met with Imam Malik and Abdullah bin Mubarak who had shaken hands with both of them.
His mother is also a shalihah woman. Imam Bukhari, before at the age of about 5 years, had the accident of losing his eyesight. His mother cried every day and night while hoping and praying that God would restore his son's vision. Finally one night Imam Bukhari's mother dreamed of meeting with Abraham who gave him good news,
يا هذه ، إن الله قد رد بصر ولدكِ بسبب كثرة بكئكِ عليه
O fulan, Verily, Allah has restored your son's vision with the cause of your frequent cries of concern.
Imam Bukhari also once said,
طلبت الحديث وانا ابن عشر سنين
I was looking for a hadith where at that time I was only 10 years old.
One time in an assembly Imam Bukhari listened to his teacher read a sanad (chain of transmission) hadith,
We got a hadith from Sufyan from Abi Zubair from Ibrahim
So Imam Bukhari said:
O teacher, Verily Abu Zubair did not meet Ibrahim
Then the teacher entered the room and came out carrying a book while asking Imam Bukhari ... "O Ananda, then from whom also the hadith was narrated?"
Imam Bukhari answered
From Sufyan from Zubair bin A'di from Ibrahim
The teacher then asked, "how old are you, O Ananda?", Then Imam Bukhari answered that he was only 11 years old.
His teacher finally expressed his admiration and praised Imam Bukhari, who at a very young age, had been so thorough in cultivating the world of hadith and transmission.
Imam Bukhari also once said;
It is not my age until 6 years but I have memorized the books of Ibn Mubarak and Waki '.
Imam Bukhari at the beginning of his departure to the holy land with his mother and his brother Ahmad to perform the pilgrimage, did not go home first and let his mother and siblings go home first. Imam Bukhari wants to take the opportunity to look for hadiths. On one occasion, he was in the Assembly of Ishaq bin Rahwaih. In the assembly some said:
لو تصدر احد لجمع ما صح من الحديث عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
"If there is someone who can collect authentic traditions from the Prophet."
Imam Bukhari said that the words rang in his memory so that he inspired him to compile the Bukhari saheeh in 16 years.
Every time he wanted to write a hadith, Imam Bukhari cleaned himself, ablution and 2 rak'ah prayers while asking Allah for guidance. He said; If after prayer his chest feels roomy then the hadith is written. If not then he undo it.
The hadith written by Imam Bukhari was revealed and asked for comment from the scholars in his time. The scholars acknowledged the validity of the hadith compiled by Imam Bukhari, including Imam Ahmad bin Hambal who greatly appreciated the hadith record recorded by Imam Bukhari.
Someone asked Imam Bukhari,
How many teachers do you have? So he answered: I took the hadith of more than 1000 teachers.
In illness near death he said that his teacher had 1080 people and he took traditions from each of them more than 10,000 traditions. This does not mean that the hadith narrated by Imam Bukhari is more than 10 million, because 10,000 could be part of the same tradition reported from other teachers.
Najmu bin Fudhail was once asked about the figure of Imam Bukhari. He replied that one night he had a dream of the Prophet walking and Imam Bukhari was following behind him. Every time the sole of the foot of the Prophet was lifted, Imam Bukhari placed his foot exactly where he placed the foot of the Prophet. That finally he meant as a sign of the high mutaba'ah of Imam Bukhari to the Messenger of Allah. Najmu bin Fudhail then wrote the biography of Imam Bukhari in Raudhah, between the pulpit and the tomb of the Messenger of Allah.
Imam Bukhari at a very young age had also dreamed of the Prophet and saw around him a fly. So he stopped him. When asked his teacher about the dream ta'bir, his teacher said that Imam Bukhari would one day be able to get rid of the forgery of the hadith of the Prophet. And apparently the reality is like that.
Towards the end of his life Imam Bukhari was also stricken in the form of the problem of coercion from the authorities to say the Quran being. Imam Bukhari persisted in his principle that the Quran with the meaning of the words of God is not a being. The Quran with the meaning of the words we read with our tongues is a creature.
When his condition worsened he prayed that Allah would forgive him and call him to his presence. He was in the city of Kharantaq, 2 farsakhs from Samarqand. After his body was buried, from the tomb he came out a more fragrant odor from the musk.
Thus the history of Imam Bukhari's life ... Hopefully it will inspire us with his life while preserving manners to him, a person who has dedicated his life to safeguarding the purity of the hadith of the Prophet.
