Great article. I have been saying for years that "Deutschland is nicht mehr uber alle". That country is rolling on inertia... When things will start shaking many immigrants will leave and their fall will be even harder to deal with. Norway in comparison to Germany has somehow secured a better future for getting involved in IT more than betting on industry. Germany's industry is about to be shaken as the auto industry is no longer seen as "the Germans and the rest of the world". Germany has yet delivered a proper electric car imo.
