RE: Why it is just a Question of Time that HIVE loose the Game of Social-Media on Blockchain! / Warum es nur eine Frage der Zeit ist, bis HIVE das Social-Media Spiel als Blockchain verliert!

in #deutsch4 years ago

Hive is doing just fine. The use-case as a blogging and social media platform are only one small sliver of what we can do here. I say again, this is a small insignificant part of the platform, so making claims that it needs to be fixed ASAP or we're going to fade into obscurity is silly to me.

I've been seeing a ton of these posts lately, to which I assume is because we happen to be trading sideways right now while many other networks are increasing in market cap. I see many of these posts as short-sighted knee-jerk reactions to a problem that will correct itself automatically without any intervention.

The ability to tip other people here with inflation using social-media front-ends is just a little added bonus. It is not necessary for our success. Be patient. It's not like anything we say matters. This network is going to do what it does no matter what anyone says. You can't herd cats.

Well, the price is certainly not the reason for my assumptions. Also, the image, as an SM platform, is probably the one that most of us users, at least in the outside world, will communicate to others than this one, isn't it?

I only perceived the Steem/Hive as such and believe that other blockchains have much more to offer in terms of further usage possibilities.

Even if you look at the hive, you should still notice what it can and cannot do. Sure, as read somewhere, Splinterlands is played here and fills the blocks nicely. Also other "apps" and "trends" seem to play a superior role. But if I open Hive.blog I see a potential SM and nothing else. We shouldn't try to force an egg-laying wool-milk sow.

But I guess that's everybody's perspective.

Of course the market will decide in the end what happens.

Thanks for your perspective.

All good wishes

I've got my head in the clouds, and I don't see Hive as a SM platform really at all. That's just a tiny, almost insignificant, piece of the puzzle. I think gaming will be a much bigger piece, but at the same time the games that exist here today do not make sense in terms of decentralized development, implementation, and ownership. Everything still reeks of the old ways. We need some bleach.

I see the tipping point coming soon™, and in ten years I think this place will be COMPLETELY indistinguishable compared to what it looks like today from the outside. #dreambig.

It is legit that everybody from us see another good point in this chain. Mine is a potential, i see here first i bet and who will be not seen in the past and not in the near future. For me it is a worldwide game changer of SM and its using today. Later i wrote again of this view and i will be happy what you would say to that.

But let us check out what the future say´s. ;-) Hope we all! get what we want from the Hive-Chain. So we can be stronger in the hard world of the internet.
