🌨️❄️ Mein erster Schneemann der Saison! Heute hat es hier im Erzgebirgs-Vorland schon kräftig geschneit. Auch wenn meine Enkelkinder heute nicht hier sind, habe ich die Gelegenheit genutzt, einen zauberhaften Schneemann zu bauen! ⛄️😊
Es war zwar etwas einsam ohne die Kleinen, aber ich habe mein Werk mit Stolz fotografiert und das Bild per WhatsApp in der Familiengruppe geteilt. Und mit der selben Freude teile ich jetzt mit euch! 📸✨

Once upon a time, in a snowy land near the Erzgebirge mountains, there lived a kind-hearted grandfather. He loved his grandchildren dearly and always looked forward to spending time with them. But on this particular day, the grandchildren were not able to visit him. However, the snowfall outside presented a golden opportunity for the grandfather to do something special.
With a twinkle in his eye and a warm smile on his face, the grandfather stepped outside into the winter wonderland. The snowflakes gently fell from the sky, covering everything in a soft, white blanket. It was the perfect day to build a snowman!
The grandfather began rolling the snow, shaping it into a big round ball for the snowman's body. As he rolled the snow, he imagined his grandchildren laughing and playing alongside him. Even though they couldn't be there, he knew they were with him in spirit.
Next, the grandfather made another ball for the snowman's head, carefully placing it on top of the body. He found some sticks for the snowman's arms and searched for pebbles to use as buttons. With each detail he added, the snowman began to come to life.
Though the grandfather felt a tinge of loneliness without his grandchildren, he couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and joy in his creation. He snapped a photo of the snowman and sent it to his family through a magical device called WhatsApp. In an instant, his family received the photo and felt the love and happiness radiating from it.
Back inside his cozy home, the grandfather sat by the window, gazing at his masterpiece. The snowman stood tall, a symbol of love and family unity. As the snowflakes continued to fall, the grandfather realized that sometimes, even when we are alone, we can find happiness by doing something we love and sharing it with others.
So, dear children, the moral of the story is this: No matter where we are or who we are with, we can always find ways to create joy and bring happiness into our lives. Just like the grandfather and his snowman, let us remember to embrace the moments of solitude and use them to spread love and warmth to those around us.

Oh so schön... I hope my daughter can make a snowman this year, as it will be her last snowman in germany in her childhood :). But I still havent't seen any white flakes at all.

I didn't understand what you wrote but that little snowman is adorable!!! I don't like the cold but am looking forward to making a real snowman this year and not a lumpy mound creator like last year! Lol

And you're absolutely right about the cold. I also much prefer being by the warm sea in the sun. But building snowman is a family tradition. I wish you lots of joy and fun, I hope you find enough snow to build a snowman. Good luck!
No worries. Sometimes it feels good to write it in our own dialect, makes us proud of where we come from. I should add some local dialogues to my blogs sometimes. 😊
I love having family traditions, it's new to me. Now that our toddler is at that age, were he understands most things. It's fun to have family traditions.
