You'll never change 'the iron law of oligarchy'. (imo).
All of history points to this dynamic repeating and repeating - from the micro to the macro levels.

The best you can do is mitigate the negatives of this, through rule of law.
A honest justice system , one based on common law - not the cancerous model we have now.
(assuming there is some kind of authority, which again history suggests there always will be)

Justice with honesty and integrity, will go along way to reign in the rise of the oligarchs forming.
People fall into the trap of thinking in linear terms (a beginning and end), rather than in cyclical terms.
ALL of nature, is cyclical.
So it is political/oligarchical growth - as it's demise.
