You are spot on...We have failed to highlight the 'Social' aspect of Social Media, which is a huge reason why I don't publish very often(not at all in months and I earn a fair amount on my articles).
It's not just the lack of monetary incentive that disincentives' commenting, but the RC burn for these actions makes it hard for new users to fully utilize the platform.
For me, I find it a pain to have to create multiple accounts on multiple platforms to utilize one. This is counter-productive and actually pushes users away from this one.
The fact is; the majority are greedy and few are here for the interaction. Things won't change unless monetary incentives are added for interaction or there is no benefit for greed and apathy.
The @commentcoin projekt, will work on one of the point to make a change with the time. But you are right, way more is wrong. Payouts for the Artikle. 50/50...? Noooo
The change from 75/25 to this, did not change anything, it made it more bad.
So let us be as one. The mass, get a word to talking with, in this game. ;-)
