10 steps to develop your discipline every day!

in #discipline6 years ago (edited)

Hello steemit friends,

Being disciplined is the difference between managing your future and letting your environment dictate your destiny.

Discipline means freedom and happiness. You know that discipline gives you the opportunity to do what you want because you know that you can learn how to achieve any dream that you define in your mind.

It also teaches you how to manage your thoughts and how to be grateful in any situation, how to visualize positive emotions and how to transform your state to trigger an optimistic mood.

The more discipline you have, the more you build self-confidence, mental and physical strength, and inspire you to grow up to be the best version of yourself. With growth comes the ability to enjoy life and your business in a deeper, more meaningful way.

Anyone can develop discipline. It's a skill and it's not complicated. Just like a muscle, just train for it.

  1. FOCUS ON GREAT OBJECTIVES
When you challenge yourself to achieve greater goals, you are really dedicated to developing your discipline muscle. The more time you spend there, the harder it becomes to give up.
Once we put in so much energy, time and effort, we quickly understand that if we give up, we will have done it for nothing. It is essential to realize that the bigger the goal, the more you will need to be invested.

  2. MAKE SURE YOUR OBJECTIVES ARE CLEAR
Clearly define what this goal means for you and what you will specifically do to achieve it.
For example, say that you set a goal to increase your business income, you must determine the exact amount? In how many days? By doing more follow-ups with your prospects? By offering a webinar? By launching a promotion? If there is no clear goal, there is no way to create the specific steps you will need to complete.

  3. KNOW THAT EVERY DAY COUNTS
When you wake up in the morning, do you know what is the most important thing to do that day? Every goal, every priority, that you have established for yourself must be done and that is what determines whether your dream lives or dies.
Just as an athlete knows that if he skips even a training session, he will already be late; he knows that he risks losing a competition, even if he is still three months away, if he does not do what he is committed to doing, if he does not follow the plan and if he is not disciplined.

  4. DO NOT DISCUSS WITH THE PLAN
Once the plan is developed and each step has been determined, stick to it. There will always be reasons to postpone or give up but there will always be reasons to continue or to go beyond. There is no step that is less important than another. They are all.

  5. 100% RESPONSIBILITY - 0 EXCUSE!
Develop the mindset that no matter, you will accomplish things by the time you said you would do them. No matter the circumstances. Do not accept any excuses from you. You must take responsibility for yourself and for yourself. Be your own inspiration.
It is said that the way you do a thing is the way you do all things. When you start the process, make a commitment not to question it, not to hesitate and not to back down. To reach your dream, you must work in his direction every day.

  6. PLAN A SACRED RITUAL IN YOUR DAYS
Create a ritual that will become second nature, an automatism, your normal. Put locked periods in your calendar for meditation, meals, calls, e-mails, etc.
By religiously following your ritual, it will become automatic and will also prepare you for success.

  7. COMMIT ... REALLY!
As far as I'm concerned, the discipline was instilled in me by my mother. When I asked her if I could take a class, she would say to me, "Be certain in the choice of where you will spend your time, because you will not be able to give up. You'll have to follow him to the end and really do your best. "
So, I learned to consider the commitment required when I wanted to do something, even over a long period. Also, it made me want to commit myself even more to discover how to motivate myself, to continue to improve and to surpass myself.

  8. UNDERSTAND THE PROCESS OF TRANSFORMATION
Your body and mindset will do everything possible to resist change. You must know that it is natural to feel lazy, unmotivated and undisciplined, but you must also know that you have the power and all the resources to succeed. Start with your thoughts first.

  9. CHOOSE WHAT YOU WANT TO LIVE
The hardest part of the discipline is to maintain the actions needed to fulfill your dream or be happy. This requires determination and a level of awareness against the comfort zone and the instant pleasures.
To do so, you must dissociate yourself from feelings that limit you, such as fatigue, laziness or self-pity. You must rise above them and choose what you want to feel or live. Discipline is the training of a fighter.

  10. PLEASE ENJOY IT!
Focus your attention on the process and do not focus only on the outcome. It is in the process that you will transform. Have fun discovering new unsuspected resources in addition to developing the ones you already know.
The more we develop, the more we realize our potential, the more the results we obtain make us want more. Personal development is a surprising drug.
Many people give up too quickly. As for me, success is our perseverance and discipline is what brings us to our destination, the realization of our dream.

I love discipline because it is a source of power. It is the engine that helps us understand and explore our opportunities and opportunities in life.

Being a disciplined person is not boring; it's actually the freedom to choose to put all your energy into creating something powerful and meaningful.

It is up to us to choose whether to discipline or not, to have a goal or not, to have a dream or not and that, as much in our business as in our life.
