McDonald's and Wendy's have been testing automation to reduce labor costs. McDonald's is adding 2,500 kiosks to its stores, while Wendy's unveiled plans last February to install self-ordering kiosks at 1,000 resturants.
the unions will do FINE though. Their wages are based upon the local minimium wage.

The workers will be blaming the business , the businesses will fight back, and the government criminal elements will sit back and watch the dog fight. There is a little bright spark happening here in Ontario though..as the minimum wage increase rolled in, on the mainstream media of all places, I've heard a person interviewed saying they don't blame the business, they blame the government. It was a pleasant shock and maybe, just maybe people are beginning to wake up.
