Yea. I’m planning to buy a used bench grinder of 600W or more and modify it to a 2x48 or even 2x72 belt sander.

2x72 much better, power at least 1.5 kW otherwise when you push hard it stops
Not easy to find or too expensive. Will need to do with what’s available and upgrade later
