If you are visiting these temples you will have to remove your footwear before entering the temple. In some temples, especially the ones in the southern state of Kerala, men are required to remove their shirts and wear only a dhoti before entering the building. Generally most temples, if not all, will not allow you to take pictures inside the temple.
