Your Data On The Dark Web Could Destroy Your Credit Years From Now

in #dlike5 years ago (edited)

When a data breach compromises our own data, we usually don't get to know about it immediately because most affected organizations are known to publish it much later, sometimes, months after the breach.

There is a possibility that we may not even read the news of the breach and even if we happen to read it we may not know that our data was compromised because we have forgotten that we had an account with the organization. To make matters worse, the hackers usually wait, sometime for years, and sell your data in the dark web to another hacker who buys it for financial gains. You could then be in for a surprise visitor from the dark web.

What can you do?

Click the link below to find out some of the things you could do to avert the possibility of being a victim of this crime.
