What Are Frontier Markets and Why Invest in Them?

If emerging markets are the wild child of the investment family, offering potentially higher rewards in return for greater risk, then what about their smaller sibling, frontier markets?

Our Comments:

Evidence on records show that early entrants in frontier markets could reap relatively better returns than investments in the other markets with the right risk management tools in place. This has been the case for foreign direct investments, for example, in Vietnam and Pakistan.

Whilst the frontier market is shrinking, there are still a lot of opportunities for the sophisticated investor who employs both the art and science of risk management to his full advantage tempered with political risks insurance made available through the state insurers or the private sector insurers.

@arcange thanks for the kind note and the upvote. Though we have been mentioned in the Steem Hit Parade for newcomers, we do not feel there is anything to be thrilled about it because we got there by using a bidbot to upvote us. Anyone with money and without any skill or talent could do that.

We also find it strange that should we have used 100 steem for the promotion, we would have gained a reputation far in excess of 50, and we would not have qualified for this recognition!

Weird. The whole thing looks so fake.

Thank you for your feedback @invest.country.

My hit parade aims at providing information on what's happening on the blockchain and the related information regarding posts made by users, whatever its content. Should I exclude yours because you used a bidbot, this would be censorship. Then, up to the community to support or disagree, using upvotes or downvotes.

You're also right about reputation. We all know the system is skewed and one can pay for reputation. As long as it is not fixed, we will have to live with it.
