Here is a speech from Christopher Hitchens which is one of my favorite speeches.
This speech is about the issue of free speech and he makes some very good points.
I think at the end of the day there is always someone who will take offence to something, people are offended everyday and it's just not possible to please everyone.
People really need to harden the fuck up, and get over it. If your life is so bad because your offended by what someone says about you, how about stopping and thinking about how bad other people have it. You have millions of people around the world who are starving and unable to provide for their families, imaging how they must feel. This is far worse that the hurt feeling of a few people who take offence to what someone has said.
What about the people who live on pacific islands who will lose their homes to rising seas, who will inevitably have to be relocated from their homes due to man made climate change to which they have not contributed. Just imagine how they must feel.
These people are facing the loss of their homes and their way of life.
I could really go on and on here.
There are so many other problems which need our dire attention, and we really need to be focusing on these problems and come together. Not everyone can see eye to eye, so the words of one person of almost certainly bound to affect another but there are some major problems which we all can agree upon.
Most people agree global warming is an issue which needs addressing, and this is just one example. There are many things most people see eye to eye on.

Without free speech we are left in a fascist dictatorship and that's pretty much what the world has become. It seems every minority group now has more rights than the rest of us, not matter how fucked up their ideals are.
It's like being offended has become a tool to suppress other viewpoints and opinions and the people getting offended are some of the most confused, twisted, bitter fuckwits ever to walk the face of the earth.
Now we can't call a spade a spade we've let the lunatics take control of the asylum.
We recently saw Alex Jones booted/censored from almost every commercial platform for so called "hate speech" which in some respects it was. That guy is batshit crazy but he's still entitled to an opinion no matter how fucked up it is.
So they fucked him off but they allowed the even more psychotic vegan gains to stay on youtube even though he openly preaches a much more extreme version of hate and keeps stating how he wants to kill people.
So censorship is rapidly becoming a tool for the globalist/fascist elite to drive their agenda and anyone who doesn't conform won't have a voice.
Wtf that cunt is fucked, how on earth is that sort of shit even allowed on youtube.
It's sad to see the way things are going :(
I'm not convinced it would be really good for us if Nazi sympathizers were allowed to freely publish their views
wow. that shit is full on. the power of free speech is evident right here in this video. he pulls no punches and the truth is illuminating and liberating.
Yeah Hitchens was my favorite free thinkers. Sad we lost him :(
