RE: About sponsoring and magic money fountain

He's not getting much support. I think SBI is a valid part of the Steem ecosystem. The fact that you do blacklist accounts helps. It's not a major part of my rewards and I'm okay with losing some of it. I know it helps a lot of people keep going. I still believe that manual curation is the most important aspect of Steem. Thanks for sticking with what you do.

Sort:

We also believe in manual curation but it has proven impossible to scale manual curation models without falling into patterns that make it hard for new creators to emerge.

Actual vote distribution is much more widely dispersed through SBI's crowd-sourced account level curation model than by any manual curation program of similar size.

There's no perfect system, but things seem generally better now that paid votes have less traction. In general I think people should not be buying votes for themselves or self-voting, especially if they get good rewards anyway. I think a large proportion of voting is automated and so there is less scope to pick up on new users doing good stuff. Most of my voting is manual.

Not getting much support? Perhaps not important to you but he breaks many their necks esp new Steemians and little fish. Long live #newsteem where a few rich set all rules!

Yes he is targeting me.
Bullies attack kids too on Steemit.
I'm six years old, and I'm not afraid.
He will not put me out of Steemit.

@steemean I hope you have enough Steem and reputation to fight back. Enjoy your day. ❤️

Steem is about freedom and people will exploit it. He's only taking a fraction of what you might get from SBI, so it should not hurt anyone that badly. It's a fact of life that those with the power have some control, in the world at large as well as on Steem, but that does not mean we are powerless.

@steevc You are richer as I. The little ones are powerless. With a rep of suddenly 0 and a trail of over 10 accounts you are powerless.

You are halfway to dolphin, so you do have influence. Use you vote where it can do some good. I notice you have a lot of unclaimed Steem. That will make a difference.

@steevc What are unclaimed Steem? And how to use them? I upvote where I can, I delegate SP to those who need it, I host a contest and I do not know what more I can do besides up voting and transferring directly into wallets. I bought Steem several times to have a bigger city but can no longer do this. 10 euro is what I need to eat with my children a week and I can not afford it to invest in more Steem. I do not have the feeling the #newsteem appreciates it. They do not even care to answer if you email with a problem. Thank you for your answer. I appreciate it. I wish you a great day.

I see this in your wallet in eSteem.

We all have different circumstances. I can appreciate some people need to cash out to get by and I'd like to see Steem flourish so more can do that.

@steevc I will claim that after I used what is given to me as prize money. Not earlier. I write exactly down each week how much I earn or what people give to me.

I do not know what you mean by "see Steem flourish" every Steem I earned so far I give away to others and I even power down to realize that. So I am getting worth less to benefit others. Is that flourishing?

Thank you for telling me. I wish you a happy day..❤️

I like to know how I can cash out without redeeming the amounts first. I never heard of that option before.
Like I wrote earlier a part is prize money which is not mine and I write down weekly. It is the same with my commentcoin amount they are not mine. I can not sell them or give them away.

I do not understand what you mean with "see Steem flourish". So far I gave and give Steem weekly away via two contests + commentcoin to other people,I engage, upvote and transfer steem as a reward. I think I do a lot for this platform, way more as most and it does not really brought me any further! I do not use Steem for my benefits or to buy food or whatever. I even bought Steem from my income that is the minimum for 1 person and we live from with 4.
If you are really interested and able to check out all my finances which I cannot with other people, you can find all that info back. I wonder how many Steemians pay over 10 Steem a week to others and invest as many hours as I do a day in this platform and are shit on too. I give tips and share, tips no one gives me because Steem has to be a big secret. Even taking money from the account is a big mystery here and Steemians are not willing to tell you. Same with how steem-engine works. I must be one of the biggest dumb arses around here.

Sorry but this really pisses me off.
