What do you think about it?
Greetings friends!
Price of Steem and SBD is increasing. Price of Steem was just around $0.10 a few weeks ago and now its over $0.20. However, what I noticed that the value of my vote is just about $0.012 which was around $0.15 when the price of Steem was $0.13 a few months ago. At that time I had less SP then I have now but the value of my vote has decreased despite of considerable increase in price of Steem (it is almost double). So, it is clear that the value of vote of a user is not increasing though the price of Steem is increasing. Is there any reason behind it?
- Yes, this is true.
- No, it is false.
- It is worth noticing.
- I have no idea.
- The reason is....

I currently (2020.02.07, 17:55 CET) have 791.642 Steem Power.
Nowadays my upvote is worth around $0.006.
It is also depending on the post. Sometimes it is worth less, sometimes it is worth more.
There were times (1-2 years ago), when my upvote was worth $0.01 or even more than $0.10 with much less Steem Power.

I think it's an internal mechanism to make Steem scarce and more valuable. Already, we are seeing the results. Thanks for sharing your observation.
Definitely it's some kind of internal mechanism but it was never announced. Thanks dear!

First time I hear this. My SP increased so did the vote I give. At 100% it is 0.25 now. I wonder where you check it.

nah...i do not think reward fund is what determines the value of vote,@akdx could it be caused by a system glitch??i mean the cause of the lack of correlation between the increased price in steem and the value of vote...........

May be but, I think it may be because of some internal mechanism. However, it is still unclear for me.
I don't think so. Value of vote is not linked to numbers of users and posts. It is linked with the price of steem.
