Peakd has a promotion feature where you burn part of the hive to promote a post in communities you can select yourself while the front-end keeps the other half of the hive spent for promotion.
I did not knew this either. It seems that despite being on Hive for nearly a decade I still don't know a lot of things about it. Like in hogwarts where only a few people know all secrets of the castle.
