Hello guys,
It is 3:30 am I can't sleep. I'm preparing a chocolate and my bags to make a trip in a couple of hours. Yesterday I got the answer from the military school and it was a big surprise... it was NO again. I can't find the words to describe how I feel about it. It has been a complete pleasure to participate on all the tests again, visit and meet very nice people who are now really happy to be part of the Colombian Army.
This could be the end of my dream of my story, this is one of those forks in the road where you have to look at the aftermath and think very well what you are going to do... am I going to desist? is this really for me? life is trying to tell me that this is not my way?
whichever is the case... I can't describe how terrible it feels to be touching with the tip of your fingers your dream for a single moment and now it is gone...

I'm very sorry this unwanted news had to reach your doorstep. I've faced a lot of disappointments in my own life, choices i've made that simply didn't work out and people i've lost because of my own foolish mistakes. I try not to focus on the regrets as a point of misery but rather experiences I should revisit from time to time objectively. Some things that we really want, fate simply doesn't allow us to obtain or achieve. It is times like these when there is a space.. Some may call it emptiness, others despair. It feels strange as we don't experience this space very often in our lives. What you do in this space as it surrounds you is extremely important. This space is an opportunity, to pick a new path, to become inspired, to change yourself into the person you truly want to be. Someone very powerful once told me that success is relative. It is not about how much money we have, how popular we are, how attractive we are... These things could be examples of success but true success exists in having a goal. This goal must be well defined. You must be able to explain it to me as if you were explaining it to a child. Beyond having that goal and being able to explain it you must actively work towards it every day with all of your being. You mustn't stray from working to achieve this goal. This is success my friend. Now I'm not saying you should give up on your dream. You have come a long way and if this truly is your goal, your dream and it is still something you want with burning passion and desire. Do not give up, keep working towards it. Give yourself time and allow yourself to experience this space around you. This is the stuff that creation is made from. Change and choice define us as human beings. You are not a failure or a loser and there is no shame in what has happened. You've got the ability to be and do whatever it is that you want, that ability is within you. Keep your head up friend. Hit me up anytime.

Damn, I'm sorry to hear that. Maybe there are alternatives, something that is similar to the position you wanted? Try to find some positive in this, every new experience makes us stronger
