Killin it man! Would love to see some videos of you just walking around on the sidewalk and stuff. The only things I have really seen pics of before are things like fried insects on a stick and I’m more curious what the rest of the city looks like lol

Yeah I will see if I can get some of that but I almost feel like it would have to be on a chest mounted GoPro. I don't know how people feel if they sort of see me filming with the gimble....etc The thing that i always notice here is that the power lines are way over loaded with way too many power lines. LOL

This room was $70 / night because I booked my flight through Orbitz and got points for that. Also I got upgraded to have a corner room for no real reason which was a plus. My flight was only $675 round trip from Chicago.
Once I'm here for a bit I should have the lay of the land figured out and find even better deals.

That looks really nice. $70 a night is pretty expensive in my book for BKK, but the facilities and location play a big part. Looks very nice though!
There would certainly be cheaper places but the pool is pretty solid here and there is breakfast included and free shuttle service to the trainline... etc. This is more of a place that a couple people could be at.

It is Soi Sukhumvit . I haven't tried to take the train into the city yet.

From the view, you are probably quite far from the center which is good for you! I guess you are around BTS station, say, On-nut or Thong-Lor.
Suggestion about coming into city center.
On your first trip, get out at Chidlom station, then walk along the skywalk towards Central World mall.
This will give you more space to find your baring.
You’ll walk past a few hotels on both side of the walkway!
For good and cheap fast food, look for Amarin Plaza, the white Roman design building! On the fourth floor, there’s a spacious food court! Here’s a Michelin’s awarded noodle stall which is quite good!
Then you could walk to Siam center and MBK shopping center, about 12 mins walk.
There’s a big festival at the National Museum this weekend! Lots of free traditional entertainment and food stalls! Take the river bus or express boat there, get off at Ta-Chang pier, it’s 8 mins walk there.
Have a nice time in BKK.

Hahahah, I'm up for a challenge so we will see how I do with European chicks at the beach. Hahha. At least at the beginning I'm just in chill mode but I'm actually going to be doing quite a bit of work on content creation. Probably more than I have been in awhile because I will have so much good stuff to take video of here and pictures. Too bad the payouts are so low on everything these days. But the hustle never stops!

Liking those floor-to-ceiling windows. $70 a night for that condo is a great deal.
yeah the windows really sell it and the top floor has the pool and a butting green, a sauna, and a weight room....etc. So that is cool as well.

It was very nice and I got to sleep for over 11 hours which is what I needed after the long flights which totaled over 18 hours of total air time.
