One of my favorite parts of this year's Oregon Country Fair was our Saturday night stroll through Shady Rest Campground. The following video includes an improv live performance from what appeared to be a band that formed right there on the hillside. These musicians had an amazing melodic vibe with extremely unique instruments being harnessed, one of which I could not discern.
I called these awesome people the Catina Band, as they reminded me of the alien band that played in Mos Eisley during the original Star Wars movie (later titled Episode IV: A New Hope), but also reminded me of a crazy alien monster costume band I have seen several times at All Good Festival that used to be in West Virginia called Big Nazo - but even better.

At one point I said "now I really wish I brought my flute", because the music was calling for one. Not even a minute after I said that, someone walked up and started slammin' on a native flute to complete the symphony (this part was unfortunately not caught in the video).

The following video also includes a tour of the main stage area of Shady Rest Campground with all its lights and music, as well as a rave dance and neon paint party with black-lights happening in one of the campsites. Enjoy the video, its only a few mins long but packed with goodness.

Do not forget that my debut conscious Hip-Hop album is completely free for download on Bandcamp and Soundcloud (click the links to go to my music on those platforms), or CLICK HERE for download instructions.
