After a tough week of traveling to Bangkok for a 90 day report at immigration, just one day on the island makes up for all of it. Days like today make living here so special and irresistible.
We woke up this morning rather late and felt the need for some adventure and what better way to spend your day than visiting a serene waterfall. After having a fruit bowl for breakfast we set out looking for Paradise Waterfall.
We spent most of our day hiking the small pathways, running up and down alongside the waterfall. There is a lovely swimming area with a Tarzan-swing attached to a tree for guaranteed fun and there are numerous little fish nibbling at your feet which is quite an experience. The road leading to the waterfall is very bad so if going there on a scooter/motorbike - caution is advised for the sake of the scooter and your wallet! ;)
A fruit bowl can only keep your tummy filled for so long so eventually we had to leave to fill them back up again. We went to a nearby village, Chaloklum for a late lunch and Thai food never disappoints.
