Hello my dear steemit friends!
As you may remember, I recently started going to the gym, working out and trying to improve my lifestyle. Not everything was going according to plan so I decided to do some research on why I wasn't making enough progress.

We recently had a class at college in which our professor, who is specialized for working with athletes, talked to us about the best ways to workout so I took some advice from his lecture.

I wanted to share with you some of the most common mistakes we make in the gym and outside of it that are keeping us from achieving our fitness goals.

So, no more mistakes, haha, at least I hope we will all make some progress!

I started going to the gym also, and I can tell you that I did exactly the same mistakes you described. I spent a lot of time running at the same pace. Thank you for sharing this great tips on @dtube

Very helpful video.

It took me years to figure out by trial and error what you explained so eloquently in less than 9 minutes.

A big game changer for me was discovering heart rate zones, and varying the intensity, going all out, all the time is a recipe for burnout.

I hope you do more of these, even though you prefer makeup :)
