Hmm, but this is getting really interesting. Because post promoter is on the list as well, which I used to share some content recently... I thought that I could get even more visibility if I am using it...
To be honest, I do not have any idea at the moment. But what you could do is just go to trending and have a look at the top posts, and see what bots they are using and do not use them.
But what I know is that Minnowbooster is fantastic I love the community they are friendly, helpful and answering all your questions, I do think that their service is beneficial.
I also want to mention OCDB which I am using, but you have to get on the whitelist, but I think with your content it should be possible?!
I know what you mean same as me. It takes a lot of time and effort to do it because you really have to think about it, and you want to deliver as perfect as possible.
When it comes to the text, I did the same in the beginning, but I noticed that when I write a little story about the pictures, it's getting more upvotes+comments. I guess it is because people can relate to it.
Like, tell your audience when you took the picture if you had a good or bad day and how you came up with the idea to take the picture from that angle, etc. Because of the art or photography tag, lots of people are using it, some of them just take a picture without putting any effort in it and post it, others do it with passion and want to stand out! - You need to stand out.
So, I guess if this is the only picture you posted, people think that it's fake and you got it from the Internet. You need to clarify that you took the picture and put your name or logo in it + little text.
Sometimes you do get hate comments for no reason, (which is very sad ) they might have a bad day or whatever... Like I did on this post, even if they are not related to the actual topic...
I would like to focus on the good things in my next videos, but I want to do a video on that topic, maybe there is someone else who knows more, at the moment it is really tricky...

unfortunately there will always be haters and ones that want to control things, cant please everybody. We can only stay true to our self and do what we do with integrity.I also like to focus my energy on the positives.
What I gather so far is there's a some what mixed opinion on the subject.
Another question I guess, are promotion services and upvote bots the same thing? a grey area possibly.
I just recently started on discord . There is a learning curve for sure to this whole steemit thing.

Is it so bad to lose a few cents? It's not about hating/control. Those in SFR are trying to return some rewards to the pool so that those who don't abuse the system have a chance to earn something. I have to say that I would not consider you a real offender, but some of the crew may see it differently. That particular case you linked to was not approved and so they earned nothing by flagging you.
Flags are a valid part of Steem. It's not a perfect system, but we are trying to make it better. You should see the real abuse that goes on below the radar. People are taking hundreds out of the pool every week with real crap. Don't you want that dealt with?
I personally see few valid uses for 'bots'. Some people seem addicted to them and being on trending. That gives a false impression of what Steem is like and encourages other to do the same.

It's not about the money and I understand what you guys are doing.It is nice to see people combating others out to take advantage of the platform .the spamming and copy paste and that sort of thing makes sense to flag that. personal opinion on art or music shouldn't be a factor.
There is definitely a learning curve to this platform, I have a lot to learn how things work but look forward to continue sharing my photography,music and sorts
