It seems we all are trying to hit the homerun. Yes it would be great to get $100 every post or $5 for each comment. There might be a few who get that but it is not realistic for most of us.
That said, it does not mean wealth cannot be created. Too many get frustrated at their payouts when they do not get the big money. The thing about Steem is there are lots of ways to turn the tap on and get money flowing.
High frequency traders make next to nothing on each trade. They compensate for it by doing millions of trades a day.
We can do something similar on Steem. While the number will not be that high, we can use a variety of tactics to increase our return on our holdings, thus growing out accounts.
There is big money when the pennies start stacking up. Time is an ally in this endeavor. Just keep growing the accounts, especially in the bear market. When the bull does appear, most everything tends to get lifted.

My posts all earn very little but I am diligent with them.
Just the other day I had a "big" one which paid out 36SP and 36STEEM, if all my posts paid like that I would have a nice crypto portfolio, still though, I enjoy what I get and like the opportunity.
It also helps when you pretend each steem is worth $100 USD (which it will one day) seeing things that way makes your time on here seem more profitable. Then there's always that interest that is working in your favor.
Do not overlook the SE tokens and the value in them.

Well thank you very much. Leo is one of the many tokens that I am collecting. You are very right too. Today I shared a post on DLike and it got ZERO attention (well, 8 upvotes) which means a payout of less the 0.01 STEEM - probably nothing once the dust settles, unless of course @dustsweeper comes to the rescue BUT it got 400 Dlike tokens which at today's prices equals 0.26STEEM - still not bragworthy numbers, but definitely not ZERO.
i dont have as much spare time as i would like - so my time to contribute is limited.

might not seem like much - but it does start to add up over time
i'm sure i could do better than the occasional scalp trade for a buck or two - but knowing that i am so much farther ahead than the rest of the world that hasn't even heard of crypto yet - gives me a little hope at least ;)
It all does add up over time. That is the key. I know it is difficult with time constraints but being in early can only have its advantages.
I like my $1 - $1.50 payouts, it's just finding something to write about daily...
Well you are involved in a few different things so there is that aspect to things.
It does get difficult at times to find topics to write about when producing content daily.

You can also use interfaces like Dlike and instead of thinking of something to write about, you can share something interesting that you read.

It is good to get high rewards of course, but for now my focus mainly is growing my account. Hopefully if and when the alt season is there, we all rise together with our earnings.
