God asks us to study His word to gain understanding, discernment, and wisdom. By knowing His word and applying it to our daily lives, we will be less likely to be deceived or led astray.
My son, if you receive my words,
and treasure up my commandments within you,
2 making your ear attentive to wisdom,
and inclining your heart to understanding,
if you call out for insight,
and raise your voice for understanding,
if you seek it like silver,
and search for it as for hidden treasures,
then you will understand the fear of the Lord,
and find the knowledge of God.
6 For the Lord gives wisdom;
from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.
7 He stores up sound wisdom for the upright;
he is a shield to those who walk in integrity.
8 He guards the paths of justice,
And preserves the way of His saints.
9 Then you will understand righteousness, justice,
And equity, and every good path.
10 When wisdom enters your heart,
And knowledge is pleasant to your soul,
11 Discretion will guard you;
Understanding will preserve you.

There are so many things we desire in life. Now imagine if we were granted what we most desire in an instant. Is it wisdom or a spirit of discernment in everything? It is important that we reflect on this and understand that this divine attribute is within our reach. God has provided the Word of God and His Holy Spirit to reveal His word to us.
What does discernment consist of? Discernment consists of developing the ability to understand what is very difficult or simply to make sound judgments. Whenever we are faced with something good or something we lack the ability to distinguish, discernment is key. God has a plan for each of us, and it is important to have the ability to discern in order to make the best decisions.
We can apply discernment in our daily lives to always choose the best option God has for us, whether in a career, a job, or in different aspects of life. When we apply discernment, we will make the best choice to follow God's plan.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And do not lean on your own understanding.
Proverbs 3:5
It is important to understand the principle of discernment, which consists of understanding what God tells us and what He desires for us. When we have to make a decision, we must learn to listen to the Lord, not just our own reasoning. That is why it is necessary to develop discernment. What is the first step? We need to fill our minds with the word of God to learn to think as He thinks and thus understand His ways. Dios nos pide que estudiemos la palabra de Dios para tener entendimiento, discernimiento y sabiduría ya que conociendo su palabra y poniéndolo en práctica nuestra vida diaria difícilmente seremos engañados o desviados.
Hijo mío, si recibieres mis palabras,
Y mis mandamientos guardares dentro de ti,
2 Haciendo estar atento tu oído a la sabiduría;
Si inclinares tu corazón a la prudencia,
3 Si clamares a la inteligencia,
Y a la prudencia dieres tu voz;
4 Si como a la plata la buscares,
Y la escudriñares como a tesoros,
5 Entonces entenderás el temor de Jehová,
Y hallarás el conocimiento de Dios.
6 Porque Jehová da la sabiduría,
Y de su boca viene el conocimiento y la inteligencia.
7 Él provee de sana sabiduría a los rectos;
Es escudo a los que caminan rectamente.
8 Es el que guarda las veredas del juicio,
Y preserva el camino de sus santos.
9 Entonces entenderás justicia, juicio
Y equidad, y todo buen camino.
10 Cuando la sabiduría entrare en tu corazón,
Y la ciencia fuere grata a tu alma,
11 La discreción te guardará;
Te preservará la inteligencia,

Hay muchísimas cosas que deseamos en la vida, ahora imaginemos si se nos concedería lo que más deseamos de un momento otro ¿es tener sabiduría o un espíritu de discernimiento en todo? Es importante que reflexionemos acerca de esto Y entendamos que este atributo divino está a nuestro alcance, Dios ha dispuesto la palabra de Dios y su espíritu Santo para que nos revele su palabra.
¿En qué consisten discernimiento? Discernimiento consiste en desarrollar esa capacidad de comprender aquello que resulta muy difícil o simplemente hacer juicios acertados. Siempre cuando estamos frente algo que es bueno o no tenemos la capacidad de distinguir, en este aspecto es clave el discernimiento. Dios tiene un plan para cada uno de nosotros y es importante tener la capacidad de discernir para tomar las mejores decisiones.
El discernimiento podemos aplicarlo en nuestra vida diaria para saber elegir siempre la mejor opción que Dios tiene para nosotros, ya sea en una carrera, en un trabajo o en diferentes aspectos, cuando aplicamos el discernimiento, tomaremos la mejor elección para seguir el plan trazado por Dios.
Fíate de Jehová de todo tu corazón,
Y no te apoyes en tu propia prudencia.
Proverbios 3:5
Es importante entender el principio del discernimiento que consiste en entender lo que Dios nos habla y lo que desea para nosotros, cuando tenemos que tomar una decisión debemos aprender a escuchar al señor no sólo nuestro propio razonamiento. Es por eso que es necesario desarrollarlo, ¿Cual es el primer paso? Necesitamos llenar nuestra mente de la palabra de Dios para aprender a pensar como él piensa y así entender sus caminos. El espíritu Santo iniciará su obra a través de su palabra en nosotros, cuanto más conozcamos a Dios mucho más podemos discernir su voz. ¿Aceptas el desafío?.
