We begin the day with the intention of facing everything the day has in store for us. Facing everything we have ahead requires prioritizing a first contact with God through prayer.
5 Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, he got up and went out to a solitary place, where he prayed. 36 Simon and those who were with him sought him out. 37 When they found him, they said to him, "Everyone is looking for you." 38 He said to them, "Let's go into the next towns so I can preach there also; for that's what I came for." 39 He preached in their synagogues throughout Galilee and cast out demons.
Mark 1:35-39
It is important that we reflect on prayer in our lives. Is it part of our daily routine? Without listing those moments when our attention is divided between various things that arise in life, let us think and remember only those moments when our attention is fully focused on God. This does not diminish the merit of prayer at any time; praying to God at any time in our lives, wherever we are, is very important and valuable. But we also need to establish a specific time and place to meet with God and have full attention.
Let us remember Jesus Christ, who, even as the Son of God, clearly understood the importance of spending a moment alone with God in prayer, a moment of full attention, of focusing solely on the Father. We agree that he did not act on his own initiative; in these moments, he depended entirely on God's will. We see in today's text that, although it doesn't tell us that he prayed, but when the disciples interrupted his morning prayer, Jesus made it very clear that he had received God's direction to go preach somewhere else.
Here we have the perfect example of a life guided by God's Holy Spirit. God's word urges us to follow in His footsteps, and we discover that if our God doesn't guide our steps, nothing makes sense. This is the exact moment to seek God's guidance and trust in His provision by praying for others as well.
O Lord, early in the morning you will hear my voice;
Early in the morning I will stand before you and put my trust in you.
Psalm 5:3
Many things want to occupy our time, but we have the responsibility to make prayer a part of our daily lives and a priority. All of this will help us have a firm foundation in God no matter what happens in the future.

Iniciamos el día con la intención de enfrentar todo lo que nos prepara el día, afrontar todo lo que tenemos por delante requiere de darle prioridad a un primer contacto con Dios a través de la oración.
5 Levantándose muy de mañana, siendo aún muy oscuro, salió y se fue a un lugar desierto, y allí oraba. 36 Y le buscó Simón, y los que con él estaban; 37 y hallándole, le dijeron: Todos te buscan. 38 Él les dijo: Vamos a los lugares vecinos, para que predique también allí; porque para esto he venido. 39 Y predicaba en las sinagogas de ellos en toda Galilea, y echaba fuera los demonios.

Es importante que reflexionemos acerca de la oración en nuestras vidas, ¿forma parte de nuestra rutina diaria?, Sin poner en la lista aquellos momento en que nuestra atención está dividida en varias cosas que se nos presentan en la vida, pensemos y recordemos solamente aquellos momento en que nuestra atención está plenamente enfocada en Dios. No por esto quitamos mérito a la oración en cualquier momento, orar a Dios en cualquier momento de nuestras vidas en el lugar que sea es muy importante y valioso. Pero también necesitamos establecer un momento y un lugar determinado para encontrarnos con Dios Y tener atención plena.
Recordemos a Jesucristo que aún siendo hijo de Dios entendía claramente la importancia de pasar un momento a solas con Dios en oración, un momento de atención plena, de enfocarse solamente en el padre. Acordamos que no actuaba por iniciativa propia, en estos momentos dependía netamente de la voluntad de Dios. Vemos en el texto de hoy que si bien no nos dice que oró pero si cuando los discípulos interrumpieron esa oración que hacía por la mañana, Jesús dejó muy claro que había recibido la dirección de Dios para ir a predicar a otro lugar.
Aquí tenemos el ejemplo perfecto de una vida guiada por el espíritu Santo de Dios, la palabra de Dios nos insta a seguir sus pasos y descubrimos que si nuestro Dios no guía nuestros pasos, nada tiene sentido. Este es el momento exacto para buscar la guía de Dios y confiar en su provisión orando también por otras personas.
Oh Jehová, de mañana oirás mi voz;
De mañana me presentaré delante de ti, y esperaré.
Salmos 5:3
Muchísimas cosas que quieren ocupar nuestro tiempo pero nosotros tenemos la responsabilidad de hacer que la oración sea parte de nuestro día a día y que también sea una prioridad, todo esto nos ayudará a tener una base firme en Dios sin importar qué es lo que acontezca en el futuro.
