In the Bible, we have many examples of people dedicating certain types of service to God and to humanity, and we also have the supreme example, which is the service of our Lord Jesus Christ, giving his life for humanity.
Then Jesus called them together and said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. 26 Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, 27 and whoever wants to be first must be your slave— 28 just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
Matthew 20:25-28
We generally have this idea that those great people, those who are influential and important role models, are the ones who have prominence, authority, and power. But we still have the example of our Lord Jesus Christ, who, although he had authority and power, did not use it but became something much lower; he became a servant and thus gave his life as a ransom for many.
“Here is my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen one in whom I delight; I will put my Spirit on him, and he will bring justice to the nations.”
Isaiah 42:1
This was also given as a sacrifice to fulfill the plan of redemption for humanity, God's plan, even though none of those who would benefit deserved it. God is holy, perfect, and just, and he does not tolerate evil and sin. Yet humanity is submerged in a deep pit of wickedness, sealed by evil with a certain destiny.
23 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
Romans 3:23
Thus, with everything against humanity and immersed in evil, unable to do anything for its own good, Jesus appeared in our midst to carry out a supreme act of service: giving his life to save the vilest sinner.
28 Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.
Matthew 20:28
This act of redemption through Jesus Christ allowed us all to be free, experiencing the peace and joy that come from God's love. This is not something accidental or something that occurred to God on a whim; it was a plan meticulously designed from the foundation of the world. From the very moment God conceived of us, he also designed this plan.
This sacrifice of Jesus Christ, which allows us access to His infinite grace as a gift we did not deserve, is simply a gift. From the moment we accept this gift, we become children of God, and God's justice is fulfilled in us through Jesus, who endured all the pain and shame to bear all that weighed on our shoulders and thus supply everything we need to be free and have full communion with God. The Lord Jesus Christ held nothing back for Himself, and in this way, He has been, is, and will be a powerful example of service to others, an example for us to follow.

En la Biblia tenemos muchísimos modelos de personas dedicando determinado tipo de servicio a Dios y a los hombres, y también tenemos el modelo supremo que es el servicio de Nuestro Señor Jesucristo dando su vida por la humanidad.
Entonces Jesús, llamándolos, dijo: Sabéis que los gobernantes de las naciones se enseñorean de ellas, y los que son grandes ejercen sobre ellas potestad. 26 Mas entre vosotros no será así, sino que el que quiera hacerse grande entre vosotros será vuestro servidor, 27 y el que quiera ser el primero entre vosotros será vuestro siervo; 28 como el Hijo del Hombre no vino para ser servido, sino para servir, y para dar su vida en rescate por muchos.

Generalmente tenemos esa idea que esas personas grandes, que son influyentes y grandes referentes son las que tienen prominencia, autoridad y poder. Pero aún así tenemos el ejemplo de nuestro señor Jesucristo que aunque tenía autoridad y poder, no hizo uso de ello sino que se convirtió en algo mucho más bajo, se convirtió en un siervo Y así dar su vida como rescate de muchos.
He aquí mi siervo, yo le sostendré; mi escogido, en quien mi alma tiene contentamiento; he puesto sobre él mi Espíritu; él traerá justicia a las naciones.
Isaías 42:1
Esto se dio asimismo en sacrificio para cumplir el plan de redención para la humanidad, el plan de Dios aún cuando cada uno de los que serían beneficiados no lo merecíamos. Dios es santo, perfecto y justo y no tolera ver el mal y el pecado, aún así la humanidad está sumergida en un profundo pozo de perversidad, sellados por la maldad con un destino seguro.
23 por cuanto todos pecaron, y están destituidos de la gloria de Dios,
Romanos 3:23
Así el ser humano con todo en contra y sumergido en la maldad imposibilitado de hacer algo para su bien se ha presentado Jesús en medio para llevar a cabo un acto de servicio supremo que consistió en dar su vida para salvar al más vil pecador.
28 como el Hijo del Hombre no vino para ser servido, sino para servir, y para dar su vida en rescate por muchos.
Mateo 20:28
Este acto de redención por medio de Jesucristo permitió que todos fuésemos libres experimentando así la paz y el gozo provenientes del amor de Dios. Esto no es algo fortuito o que se le ocurrió a Dios de un momento a otro, este fue un plan diseñado minuciosamente desde la fundación del mundo, desde el mismo momento que Dios nos pensó también diseñó este plan.
Este sacrificio de Jesucristo que nos permite acceder a su gracia infinita como un regalo que no merecíamos, simplemente nos regala, a partir desde el momento que aceptamos este regalo somos hijos de Dios y la justicia de Dios cumpliéndose en nosotros a través de Jesús quien soportó todo el dolor y la vergüenza para cargar sobre si todo lo que pesaba sobre nuestras espaldas y así suplir todo lo que necesitamos para hacer libres y tener una comunión plena con Dios. El señor Jesucristo no se reservó ni un poco para él y de esta manera ha sido, es y será un ejemplo poderoso del servicio hacia los demás, un ejemplo para que nosotros podamos seguirlo.
