If they are under 50, they'll need to find something productive to do.
Everybody between 20 and 50 are responsible for keeping the machines supplied in cogs, and grease.
If the factory up the road needs help, local help will be there first.
Honestly, with the robots free to replace labor everywhere, the work week necessary to keep us in Nike's, TP, and flashylight boxes will be under 20 hours a week, even when restricted to the specified ages.

Provided that we can keep the machine moving long enough for the culture to acclimatize.
That means that the Chinese workers have to be in on the deal, as well.
No way the crapitalust leviathan can be turned from enriching the few to enriching us all without the Chinese workers carrying a significant portion of the weight while we decentralize production.
We will have to decentralize production to assure the broadest coverage of goods.
If Africa doesn't have it's own means of production, transportation lines would be unnecessarily long.
Food production has to decentralized to assure that the entire world has enough.
Perma-culture structures will have to be a priority.
Once we have the basics in line, we can look at the moon and Mars.
Imagine NASA not limited by 'budgets'.
