This is a very good question every one would be able to answer with his or her own reason in life. The first thing actually that would first come in mind is the gift of life because without it we are nothing. With this being said I would have been a victim long time ago because I was involved In a ghastly accident way back in 2017 which I survived and am grateful to say am healthy and alive today to be part of this question.
Though like I said earlier everyone has is own personal reason why he or she should be grateful in life. I am most grateful in life today because I am the first child in my family to go to the university and also a graduate in computer engineering. Life with me then wasn't easy because I never believed I would be a graduate today despite the challenges and the tough moment I passed throughout my time in school.
I came from a poor family where we hard nothing and the dream of going to school was difficult because of the hard time situation we passed through but I decided to go to school and look for means that I would use to secure funds in other to sponsor myself to school. This was really a tough task for me but I decided to go through that difficult situations in other to achieve my aim at the end of it since I had nobody to help me but I decided to follow my dream by going to school.
I was lucky to be employed in a factory work in the year 2010 owned by an Indian company where I started hustling in other to make savings for myself to go to school. Though the starting was very rough for me because I hardly save the money due to family issues where I would have to drop at least half of my salary for my family to feed and I wasn't earning much because the salary was little. But along the line I started making savings by engaging myself in contribution which is my main aim of saving so as to go to school.
I work for the company for three years and in 2013 I enrolled for "JAMB" which means "joint admission matriculation board" where I got the form to process my admission so as to go to school and I eventually pass the exam and gained admission that year to study computer engineering in the higher institution. It was my parents joy to see me go to school which they were unable afford but I hard to eradicate that challenges to go to school where I made a little savings to embark on that journey.
With the help of no one I did it and am grateful for that but the little savings I made won't be enough for me to finish my studies but my Dad and Mom vowed to assist to see me through in other to achieve that goal. My dad who is just a security man and my mum a trader was willing to see me finish even though they know it won't be easy for them but they decided to struggle more to see me graduate.
My days at school
Life in school wasn't easy because during my time in school I engage in some daily jobs to earn money so as to assist myself financially in other to provide things I needed in school. To cut the story short to the glory of God I achieved my aim but some how in a sad note but am still grateful because I lost my dad in my final year in school and it really affected me because being in my final and I have lot of task to do like my final project and some other expenses attached to it that year really affected me where I decided to drop out but today am grateful I achieved that success despite my dad not seeing me graduate but am sure he will be happy wherever he is.
