I want to LEARN - TEACH me more!

in #education5 years ago

Life is full of surprises. Being able to learn something that you didn't know about before, is one of them.

What do you actually do to advance yourself?

When I was little, there was no internet, so if you wanted to get some facts you either needed to rely on what your parents told you ORyou actually searched for facts by yourself, in libraries, asking teachers etc.

You actually needed to, physically, go from point A to point B, to learn. By actively making a choice to learn.

When you are rested and not hungry, you learn way faster than the opposite way. But is it enough with just sleep and food, to be able to learn?

Another big part in learning is also; interest. If you have interest in learning, your brain will store the new information way faster.

I know, you are, for example, in school, studying a topic that is not even close to what you actually like to read about or want to learn about.

Therefor, in the long run, you wont learn anything either. You will see the text in the book or on internet and your brain will read it, but not store it. Why? Because you don't have the interest.

By fooling the brain you can learn a lot and also be more efficient.

And how do I do that?

By pretending.

PRETEND that you like the choosed subject, PRETEND that you have the big interest and your brain will believe that this is in your preferred radius of interest. Therefor, your brain will also learn!

We choose, we learn, we develop.
