The name that a person carries is like a natural identification, it is the first thing that a person wants to know about another (instinctively) and it is that "Something" that exists from the time of the caverns.

Whatever your name will have an impact throughout your life, be it good or bad, it can bring you closer or get you away from certain opportunities; this due to the predisposition of people, once you know the name of someone you will grant a status, and it is not something as complex as that given by a social class or a race, it is something that hardly contributes but does not go unnoticed, is true that in some cases by your name you can take more or less serious. Thanks to the levels of education of a person, it can choose between an "Andrew" and a "Pablo", the first name imposes more and is more respectable than a simple "Pablo".
If this is added the appearance of a person (superficiality: style of clothing and hygiene), age (experience in life) skin color (race), and the way they express themselves (education / lack or too much masculinity in both genres) you can decide if a person is or is not "appropriate" for your standards.

The name your parents choose will be tied to you for life (unless you choose the easy path and change it legally, although it is quite difficult to erase from your brain the name that has identified you since you were born) and is inevitable for some want to hide your name with an alias, a nickname ... Doing that is using a mask, to hide who you really are, people with nicknames may be weak since they need a nickname to feel superior, such as the complex " mask "that when you put it on, it allows you to act better, think better and express yourself better ... But in reality you are yourself pretending or releasing a part of yourself ...
Wanting to change your name can go beyond an unfounded whim, it may be the mental need to change everything from you to a name, this name can carry negative memories of your life and you need to eliminate it from your legal documents in order to feel more free , to be able to feel you.
A name should not decide who you are, it should not influence your life so much.
What defines your being is yourself, your actions, your way of thinking and your experiences (since they are the ones that most influence your decisions). The name given to you can not be more than an Alias, a simple nickname to recognize you, but ... Do not you think it's very sad that they only remember you by name? Your actions and the example you give to society should be more important than that ... No matter what you call yourself, what matters is what you achieve in life.
That they remember you for your actions and your achievements, for how you got up after falling, not for a pseudonym or a name that anyone can have.
