Hello Steemit community, this time I want to talk about one of the Venezuelan pride as is the cocoa, since nobody is a secret that our nation is the best cocoa in the world, said this in many international publications. Because, this has precise characteristics of which you get the best chocolate in the world and many other things. Now let me describe this article.

Porcelain cocoa is known for the softness of its bark, it is an almond or large grain and petitre, white inside, which gives it a bitter taste. Its cultivation can be in shrubs of 2 to 3 meters in height, this fruit can be observed up to 20 per tree, after ripening it is cut and placed in the shade in banana leaves for approximately 3 to 6 days. It is important that the humidity be like this, but without getting wet with the rain. To finish its process, it is put in the sun around 3 to 6 days.

Why is cocoa so coveted?
First we must know that it is the raw material for chocolate and its fruit takes from 5 to 6 years, but it matures in a time of 6 months, it is also a fruit that is known for the first time in Latin America (so you can imagine what has been coveted in both European countries).

What use did our aborigines give to cocoa before chocolate?
It is known that indigenous Venezuelans prepared medicinal drinks with this fruit and others used it for cultural beliefs.

Now, when it was known that it was widely used (raw material for chocolate), it occupied the first place in exports, that is, the Venezuelan economy was maintained for approximately 300 years by this sector. However, after the oil exploitation boom this changed, as well as the appearance of the disease of the witch's broom that directly attacks this fruit

With everything I could tell you, because we did not ask ourselves a question.

Do you think it is possible that Venezuela will resume the export of cocoa in the world and leave aside oil?

Let's be honest to those who do not like delicious Venezuelan chocolate.

It's all for today my friends, we read in a next installment.
