This TV series is amazing, the story is about a hundred young people who are sent to Earth years after the nuclear apocalypse that killed all the life in planet. These people actually commited some sort of crime, so they are sent from The Arc, a
spacial station, to Earth to see if it is actually habitable.
But after arriving in the planet they realize that there are some people already living there.
The grounders ...
conflicts arise among them, and the "sky crew", how the 100 are called, need to fight to survive.
But not only the grounders are a threat ...
There is actually some people living in Mount Weather, a place safe from any radiation, where people survived the apocalypse by generations. They seemed nice, they offered food, entertainment to the sky crew. But they are actually not that way nice, due to the fact thar they lived by generations inside this place, they can't actually survive sun exposure or any kind of radiation, they extracts blood from the grounders to cure any side effect of radiation exposure. Andthen, they find out that the bone marrow extracted from the sky crew could make them able to walk under the sun, and give them the freedom they never had.
When you think life is getting easier and it is peaceful ... an AI called A.L.I.E appears and starts to get into people's head by a microchip, she is actually responsible for the nuclear apocalypse, the ones that are controlled by her believe that there is the city of light where they don't die and don't feel any pain ...
Who said that the Earth is a safe place to live? Waves of radiation become stronger and the planet becomes inhabitable again, people start to a way to save the human race, and look for a shelter to live.
Who will decide who deserves to live or die? It's a dilemma that appears in many situations. Would be happy if you are not in the surviving list? Would you actually be able to go through all these problems?
