Hi everyone , here is some more pictures of the museum (PART 4)
have some new pictures of the other parts of the museum , i went there alone, so i wanted someone to take this photo from me , The columns of Perspolis !
The capital is in the form of two bulls back to back , beneath them is elaborate volute decoration surmounting a palm capital supported by pendant leaf mouldings , the column based is bell-shaped with carved floral decoration , the fluted column shaft would originally have been much taller , this is an example of one of the small columns from Perspolis , H 370 Cm , Diam (base) 76 Cm
accidentally these picture are in a good position so i could upload them in this way :)
