Announcing another big release of eSteem mobile, version 1.3.9. Multi-account and multi-notification, voting slider, improvement and bug fixes, language updates.

What's new
Multi-account support, in addition to our last release, we now happy to announce that you can add multiple accounts and use them on eSteem. Multi-account on multi-chain. Login screen have been updated so you can choose chain and login with credentials on that chain. You can add as many account as you like from side menu with
Add Account. Note, if you are currently logged in on previous version of eSteem, it would log you out to start multi-account support. After login, account is set as default, you can change your account from side menu as well. Account has indicator (icon) in front of them to indicate on which chain they belong. Selection of other accounts will reload app. To remove account, you just have to logout.Multi-notification, as you have seen in my latest post notification backend got major improvement and with this release we have improved it even more to send notification to multi-accounts on same device. Once you login/add new account you can enable your notifications for active account, be it on Steem or on Golos. You receive notification for all accounts from both chains. Notification title will indicate account that notification belongs. Notification callbacks are also fixed, tapping on notifications will take you to app and specific post/profile.
Voting slider, you can quickly change voting weight by tap and hold on voting button, it will bring slider so you can change percentage, it will be saved and kept for you. After changing, just tap anywhere on screen to hide it. All votes moving forward will be using selected weight, if you wish you can tap and hold again to change it or change it from Settings page as per usual.
Multi-chain synergy improved, from now on, you don't need to restart app to change your chain. App merely reload itself after change. Reload/Refresh is necessary to update chain connection and update currency.

EDIT: If after upgrade you don't see posts loading, most likely because your default websocket is set to steemit.com which was updated couple days ago. Please change chain couple times to get latest recommended websocket or click on i info icon to see recommended websockets.

It looks nice here on your post. Your app worked perfectly for the last acouple months - stopped working when they added the drag and drop function on Steemit.
I have updated twice today and I still get no posts appearing, no wallet balance, all the menu options work but no content. (Galaxy Grand Prime)
Yes, with v1.3.8 we have introduced multi-chain functionality which apparently broke saving of websocket changes. This new release fixes that, v1.3.9 release was scheduled early next week but because of above bug, been pushed asap and finished this release changes today.

If after update app is not loading posts, probably because your default websocket is still not changed, please go to Settings page and change chain or select

Thanks shayne! iOS update is coming in couple days. Currently iOS version has few bugs which I am working on to fix them and do tests. I would suggest you to look out for upcoming iOS update announcement.

Hi brother, Please upgrade to v1.3.9 and make sure you have proper websocket in Settings page! As I mentioned on other comment, v1.3.8 had issue and steemit have changed their websocket couple days back. Yes, Market has External apps and no Plugins for now. Working on couple plugins and encourage any developers to write and work with us to provide your plugin to eSteem users...

yes that sounds right... Only get APK from github releases other sources might tamper it.

However, as much as I keep using eSteem, the better it gets. As some people said, no posts are showing anywhere. And the fix suggested by the developer doesn't work at all.
Damn! It is done with web technologies. Why people tend to provide pseudo-native apps that work GREAT on a web browser but are CRAP when distributed on .apk packages? There is any improvement which explains the publishing as a native app.
There is even Web Notifications API, which is a standard implemented in many web browsers, not just Chrome.

Yes. In Settings it says that eSteem is version 1.3.9
I tried several times. Changed the chain to Golos and Saved settings. Then I go to my home screen and close the app -on the recent apps list- and then I open eSteem again and changed it to the Steemit chain and repeat the process.
I made it several times. Even without closing the app. Another time I Force close the app. Still no showing any post. Nor Golos neither Steemit.
In that case, I would suggest to uninstall app and install it back! Please let me know if that helps...thanks!

Yeah my v1.3.8 is locked and unusable now... I went to the app store and the new v1.3.9 is not yet available.... looking forward to it, thanks for the continued support.

Hey @darkflame, yes today I am fixing last iOS bugs...in 2 days you will have fix and above new features. Sorry for inconvenience! Changing websocket had issue on v1.3.8 and since steemit changed websocket without any notice and our latest release had bug cause some usage issues.
