We often hear the phrase "women" and "women" is there a difference ???. Of course there is a difference even though the sentence is almost equal, sometimes jyga people distinguish it when saying it. Then where is the difference? when we hear the word woman and woman, sometimes like there is a different social class between the two. When using 'women', we tend to assume that the word's degree is not as high as 'women'.
According to Kamus Besar Bahasa Indonesia (KBBI), the two words mean as follows,
- Perempuan /pe·rem·pu·an/
(n) orang (manusia) yang mempunyai puki, dapat menstruasi, hamil, melahirkan anak, dan menyusui.
- Wanita /wa·ni·ta/
(n) istri; bini.
The sentence or woman is derived from the word empu which means 'master' or 'masterful / powerful' person. There is a deep enough meaning here. This word means that women have full body and become master for themselves.
