Adat aceh sangat disanjung tinggi oleh masyarakat aceh bahkan masyarakat luar, dimanapun masih diutamakan adat aceh walaupun berbeda kegiatan dengan daerah masing-masing.
Setiap ada acara teeutama pesta perkawinan orang aceh akan selalu menggunakan pelaminan untuk memeriahkan acara tersebut,dan juga untuk mendudukkan satu pasangan yang sudah layak dikatakan suamai istri.
Ditempat itu mereka akan duduk sambil melemparkan senyum manis kepada tamu undangan.setelah itu mereka juga akan berfoto-foto dengan keluarha dan teman-teman mereka diatas pelaminan tersebut.
