Hampir setiap Pesantren Modern serta sekolah Umum di Aceh, Olah raga Beladiri Silat merupakan pelajaran Exstra yang harus di ikuti oleh mereka yang punya jiwa kesatria. Mulai dari latihan dasar sampai tingkat Sparing satu lawan satu sebagai ujian untuk naik kelas (sabuk).
