First of all, eSteem desktop app is no longer a "Surfer".
It is just eSteem desktop application now.

Esteem desktop 2.2.5 - Hive support released
You should get a little notification like this to update your eSteem.
Click "Update" will start downloading new version.
Once downloading is done, it should update the application.
But mine didn't update automatically. I use Windows 10 and I tried few times, but it was stuck at "Downloading new version"
So I went to eSteem site and downloaded the file manually.

(new mobile version is coming out soon. probably tomorrow)
Once you download the file, just run the installer and it will update the app to a latest version.
Start the new desktop application.
This new version supports Hivesigner (Hive version of steemconnect)
Login with your same username and password and check the version.
ESTM is back and points showed up correctly!
I am not sure about the new logo though... I think the old logo was better.
This new logo is like old IE logo 😅 but they can change the logo or whatever it's easy.
I just installed this new version and haven't played with it but hopefully, a lot of stuff is fixed and improved!

Just now i was trying to long into Steemit and it wouldn't let me saying can not connect "Internal Server Error" can you try and let me know if you can get in. Thanks @tomoyan
