!) We Had 6 cycles of chemo every three weeks. This was a brutal process the chemo. It was worth it. The chemo knocked the heck out of the SCC (small cell cancer). After the 6 weeks we wanted to see how well it worked and if it would keep the cancer at bay. The cancer came back over the past 90 days. I would make the same choice again.

They put me on some potassium supplements in order to raise the level. If you compare this test from the one from 2 weeks ago . It has not got any worse which is a good thing.

The test TSH is the Thyroid. This needs to be watched closely . What Immunotherapy does is super charge the immune system and there is a strong that your immune system can attack your own body. Critical that over the next couple of weeks we have blood test.
Here is my schedule.
May 28th Chemo
Jun 4ht Oncologist
Jun 11th Chemo
And of course every Tuesday and Thursday a nurse will be at the house to see how things are going and vitals .
I am so tired and hurt all over. I will take more pain pills here shortly ang go back to bed, times like this I think of my buddy Brian, you know @lynncoyle1 husband. I know how bad he is hurting. Shame he is so far away because we could have some fun laughing and driving our wife’s in circles. Not really. ;) but fun to think about it.
I new this was going to be a brutal couple weeks. I said this last week. Sometimes I hate when I am right.

Having read this post I can see that you are definitely dealing with quite a lot in regards to maintaining your health. This must be very difficult but I can tell by your words that you are a champion heart and soul!

This going to be a long a nd brutal 18 weeks to wait @wolfhart.. I really hope that those pills could relieve the pains a bit. You've been through the previous cycles before.
By the way... you're not staying at the hospital for 18 weeks? You will be there for the chemos only.. I'm looking forward for what's the progress of the process. Reading your story remind me to couple of kids with cancer who are staying at a "our house" manage by a friend of mine in Banda Aceh. They're about 3-15 yo from a very poor family.
You give thoes kids hugs for me. They are so brave and strong.
The pills help but the side effects are terrible. This is a battle. It is not as bad as it was in the beginning.

stay strong , i may not know how painful you are in now. but i k ow for sure that GOD will be there for you and will heal you . prayer is sooo powerful . Just hang in there and lift it all up to HIM.

Oh dear lord i hate to read youre in pain, we are all roosting for you and thinking off you and fight dear fight.
I think it is the only way to get to the other side . So we will have to go through it.
It is a hard road. I just wish they would repave it .
