Rumbia or also called (tree) sago is the name of a palm-producing sago palm. Other names in various regions of Sumatra and Sulawesi are rumbieu, rembie, rembi, rembiau, rambia, hambia, humbia, lumbia, rombia, rumpia. In Maluku known as ripia, lipia, lepia, lapia, lapaia, hula or huda. People also often call it ,,,
People often call it sago tree. Though originally named rumbia tree or Metroxylon sago. Like the palm tree, the benefits of rumbia tree is also quite a lot. The leaves are commonly used for rooftops and stems for firewood.
