THE HOUSE WITH A CLOCK IN ITS WALLS (21st)
If you love harrypotter you will definitely like this, maestro at torture and gore, Eli Roth gives kiddie horror a go. Based on John Bellairs’ juvenile fiction book, the story follows an orphan, his uncle (Jack Black), and a magic clock that can end the world, with the film taking its cues from nostalgic favorites like
Gremlins and everything Tim Burton. , Cate Blanchett also stars

THE NUN (7th)
Taissa Farmiga stars in this The Conjuring 2 offshoot that'll shed light on the demonic nun who made audiences take the Lord’s name in vain. An origin story set in Romania, it should feel like its own entity, as you can bet Corin Hardy ( The Hallow ) will bring originality to the well-trodden material

NIGHT SCHOOL (28th)
It is a perfect comedic combo: Tiffany Haddish and Kevin Hart. A high school dropout who needs to snag that GED to finally become a financial analyst, because, why not? Haddish? The night school teacher who is standing between him and his GED. chef's kiss

PEPPERMINT (7th)
Jennifer Garner is pissed . After members of a drug cartel kill her husband and daughter, Riley (Garner) seeks revenge from a system too afraid and corrupt to bring them to justice. Five years later, she returns with a new haircut, a white tank top, and a thirst for bloody vengeance. This is the closest Garner has come to going full- Alias again, and that's a good thing.

THE PREDATOR (14th)
These aliens are better at hunting, evading death, and eating the flesh off your stupid human body than ever before. After their release back on Earth, it's up to Boyd Holbrook, Sterling K. Brown, Olivia Munn, and the kid from Room to stop the insanity one. more. time.

A SIMPLE FAVOR (14th)
On the surface, it looks like a Blake Lively/Anna Kendrick movie where one of them stars as a mommy vlogger. Strange, right? But when you look closer, Paul Feig (!!) is directing it, and it's most certainly not a comedy. When Lively's character goes missing, the psychological thriller follows Kendrick's character through the mystery that is her disappearance.
