Shattering or Saving of Innocence
Helpless hopeless, bruised and bought
Weary, weathered, wasted worn
Tragic trauma taken torn.
Beaten, battered in the wild
Fearing, falling in distress
Profits paid by CPS.
Truthful terms, so straight to hell.
Homeless, ruthless foster care
Bruised and banished, baggage bear.
Trafficked teens the childhood wrecks,
Prisons, graves, a spiral deep
Mother's misery, tears that weep.
Protect, preserve is our defense
Addicts all of apathy
Shed the scales of sleep to see.
Little lambs are not your toys.
Kidnapped kids are people too!
Shattered lives, it will not do.
Saving. sparing innocence.
A friend to family, global be,
Unified we set them free!
Trauma and tragedy can so easily shatter the lives of children. Tender little lambs, under the care of their mom and dad, are too often stolen into a world of abuse and danger.
The CPS is responsible for the theft and trafficking of our babies, as they are whisked away for profit on each head. Through intimidation, manipulation, surprise and outright lies, illegal cases are scrutinized and pushed through the judicial system. Judges and lawyers are conveniently bought off or morally compromised. And the trauma is just beginning.
It is a one two agenda to traumatize and monetize, and our apathy is fueling the traffic of this filthy global operation.
The trafficking of children is moved along, like a conveyer belt at a slaughter house. The only difference is that their are our babies and the fearful faces of tomorrow. The first stop is the foster care home, where too often strangers further traumatize the young, with angry voices and violent words. The shuffle of trafficking progresses, like a dirty deck of cards, as children are moved from home to home, to yet more homes. But the trafficking only continues to the next stop or stops.
Next we find children who are runaways, becoming street smart and addicted to drugs and other vices. Many live on the skids or selling their bodies for sex, just to feed their new addictions. Following run ins with the law, some find their new home in prisons or a grave.
And so moves the downward spiral of a trafficked child. But that is not all.
There is the heavy baggage that these babies carry for a lifetime. Psychological emotions of fear, hopelessness, helplessness, abandonment, guilt, anger, depression, desperation, voicelessness, numbness, failure, loss of dreams, nightmares, suicide thoughts... and the list goes on without any help from the cause of these emotions...the CPS. No, they littler these shatterings of pain, never showing remorse or responsibility. They only want the profit from the theft and sale of your flesh and blood.
But the psychological fallout is felt equally by the parents and family. And there is the ripple effect throughout those who know this poor child.
Apathy is not the answer. Action is. It is time we all kick the addiction to indifference, and shed our scales of sleep to really see the trauma these families are suffering.
We have the power to shatter or save innocence...the choice is ours. Kidnapped kids are people too. They are tomorrow and count even more.
When we protect, preserve and defend innocence, we save innocence and end trauma. Only a zero tolerance, unified global non-compliance to the tyranny of evil, will ever end child trafficking. It is up to each of us to do our part.
